UNDER PREPARATION
In the year 2009, our bookbinding department will be extended with these machines:

Technological equipment used for postpress applications (finishing operations). The folding machine has its stack feeder fitted with a breakthrough sheet jogging system. This machine will allow us to carry out design-demanding orders because this equipment facilitates the manufacturing of a large number of parallel and cross folds. Its major advantage is its modularity; i.e. simple conversion of the machine to suit real-time needs (for instance, when the structure of printing orders changes substantially). The machine is also connected to the remote setting system and to the Prinect Management Solutions control system. The folding machine also contains:

• Mobile flake delivery with pressing equipment that can reduce the volume of individual sheets by up to 50%
• Creasing (pressing a folding line)
• Ancillary folding, trimming and perforating equipment

This is a highly productive automatic machine allowing for cutouts of up to B2. The overall success of every product depends mostly on the superb quality of finishing treatments. The KAMA cutting automatic machines process every order quickly, precisely and in excellent quality, be it a CD sleeve, self-adhesive labels, little boxes, folders or document files. The KAMA machines can handle 74 x 54 cm and 74 x 60 cm sheets and are able to process varied materials ranging from thin paper through cardboard to thick cardboard with a basis weight of up to 1500g/m2. Tricky materials such as microwave cardboard and plastic foil can also be processed.
 
  

Eurobind 600 is a single-clap adhesive binder. The opening and closing of clamps is pneumatic and is fitted with automatic verse movement. The adhesive binder works at 600 cycles/hour and processes products arranged in a block that is 2 to 50 mm thick, 120 to 440 mm high and 120-320 mm wide. The basis weight of glued sheets ranges from 60 to 170 g/m². Eurobind 600 also works with envelopes weighing from 120 to 300 g/m². Eurobind 600 employs a horizontal envelope feeder. The operator can check the envelope stock in the stack. The binder is equipped with a detector sensing double envelope loading or the absence of an envelope.

This is an efficient, all-purpose machine. It can package individual products (magazines and leaflets where foil shrinking is not anticipated) as well as stacks of printed materials that are not more than 150mm high and whose foil can shrink in a hot-air tunnel. A bag is made from foil shaped as a half-hose. Its edges are joined by longitudinal welding (continuous side weldment) by means of a transverse welding bar. A packed product is hermetically sealed and the bag is perforated by microperforators to allow air escape during shrinking. Machine operation is controlled by PLC SIMATIC S7. Machine functions are fully automated and the operator's activities are limited to nothing more than refilling consumption material. The packaging line will consist of several linked-up assemblies, namely with these nodes:

• entrance feeder with the automatic feeder of products with a reservoir
• Compacta 5022 automatic packaging machine
• SC 4530 SD hot-air shrinking tunnel
• output conveyor with labeling equipment fitted with a printer
• jogging automatic machine with a terminal conveyor
